C.J. has the sweetest little voice. I never get tired of hearing it....he always has such a great time with Kedric. I think we stayed at the pool for nearly 3 hours on Monday.

What a BUSY and FUN Monday!

What a fun way to start our week off. Today was the first day of VBS at our Church and what fun both C.J. and I had. He is in the room right next door to mine so that was so fun checking to see how much fun he was having, plus we were able to be together for Music, something we both love. After VBS we met my great friend Vicky and her kids; Allison, Audra, Kedric and their sweet friends Jake and Abbey at the Sprinkler Park. After about an hour of that I asked if they wanted to come swimming with us and so we all had a great time swimming until almost 5 O'Clock. What a perfect day, everyone just had a wonderful time. Love you guys so much Vicky!

another swim lesson

I was so proud of C.J. today at his swim lesson. He jumped in two times with out any swim floats on. Ms. Theresa said that he did so good that I should really do 4 more lessons as soon as possible, so we signed him up just by himself this time. He will really be ready for the beach in a few weeks. I a m trying my best to take him to the pool almost everyday so that he remembers everything he has been taught. I know all of our Family will really love seeing these video's of him.

C.J.'s swim lesson

C.J. started swim lessons last week with my friend Sharon's Daughter Kate. They both are having a great time. He has 3 lessons this week and I will more than likely set him up some one on one lessons next week. He really loves the water and we are so looking forward to taking him to the beach in a few weeks to see how he does. This video was actually taken last week and today he did amazing, jumping off the side without a float on, he did not want to get out of the water but Mother Nature called ( Thunder ). can't wait for tomorrow!

I found this video of C.J. that I had taken at LifeWay Christian Book Store a few months back and Chad and I thought it was the cutest thing. C.J. not only has a charming personality but as a lot of you know, he loves to dance. We would say this is proof of that. So darn cute!

Audrey Caroline

I wanted to post this video from youtube on my blog to share the story of this sweet Family that are in the midst of grieving not only the loss of their baby daughter but their Nephew as well.This video is a tribute to their precious daughter Audrey Caroline. Another fun day with Friends

we had a great time hanging out with our friends today. We met my good friend Julie and her kids, Megan and Ben, for lunch then we went swimming. We did not get home until almost 5 o'clock. Needless to say, C.J. was asleep before we left the parking lot. I am so looking forward to spending lots of fun days with all of our friends this Summer.C.J. did so good in the water today and he has 3 swim lessons left next week, so before we go to the beach he should be swimming like a little fish, we pray! Thank you God for such a beautiful day and for very special friends.

Sprinkler park fun!

C.J. and I met my friend Annie and her little girl C.J. today for a late lunch at Moe's and then hit the Sprinkler Park. We all had such a good time. I am so blessed that God continues to put such sweet friends into my life and thankful that the Sprinkler Park is two minutes from my house. We will get PLENTY of use out of it!

Fun trip to D.C.

We had such a great time in D.C.. Chad's Cousin, Katie, got married and it was so wonderful to meet all of his Cousin's that live so far away. We stayed at the "Mayflower Hotel" and was able to walk over to the "White House". We took C.J. to the Zoo as well. It was so much fun!
It was a full weekend of celebrating Katie and Brendan's Wedding. On Sunday we drove to Chad's Aunt Judy's house, who lives in Virgina, and just had some relaxing time hanging out with the whole Family. Hope we can come visit again in the near future and look forward to reunions that all the Cousin's are planning.

Special night with friends

Our good friends, Vicki and Tim, came over with their three wonderful kids; Allison, Audra and Kedric and we had such a good time. C.J. just loves Kedric and Vicki is almost like another Mom to him. He just cries when they leave. I feel so blessed that God brought them into our lives 4 years ago. Although I am older I feel like Vicki is a big Sister to me, she is so wise and wonderful, her whole Family means so much to us. we love you guys. Thank you for always being there,your Family is a wonderful example of what Christ calls us to be to one another.

Memorial day weekend fun

we had such a fun and relaxing weekend. We took C.J. to Dollywood where we met up with our friends Christie and her kids Joseph and Zach. We met them last year at the NASCAR speedpark and have been friends ever since. We try and make sure that we get together when we go visit Gatlinburg. The kids have a great time together.
We then took the boat out for a little while and had dinner at Lake Side Tavern. It was so good to just relax as a Family and not have any place where we HAD to be.
